How to Clean Vomit

The human body has a natural way of dealing with things and it no longer wants to keep down. Whether you are just seriously sick or eaten something that does not agree with you, the natural reaction of the body may be to force it out. Obviously, vomiting up food and liquid is an incredibly embarrassing thing. While you'll just have to deal with that fact, it can be even more embarrassing if you leave a stain. So, the question of how to clean vomit naturally comes up.

If you get sick, two surfaces tend to get covered with it. The first, of course, is your clothes. The second, tends to be the floor. Dealing with vomit in both situations requires different tactics. Let's take a closer look.

If you vomit on your clothes, the first step is to move to new part of the room and take a couple deep breaths. If at all possible, you should rinse out your mouth and apply some toothpaste. You need to deal with the nasty taste before you can deal with the stain. Once you're in control of yourself, the first step term of a vomit from your clothes is to wipe off the excess matter. Next, wash the stain a mixture of white vinegar, warm water, and biodegradable soap, if possible. As soon as possible thereafter, get the clothes cleaned. If you take the steps fairly quickly, it should be no residual staining.

When it comes to carpets, things are a bit different. It is best to immediately tried to wipe off any excess matter and liquid. You're going to have to deal with both the stain and odor, so you want to apply a liquidy paste made from a quarter cup of baking soda and about 1 cup of warm water. If the odor persists, try adding hydrogen peroxide to the mixture and apply it to the stain again.
