Inevitably, there is scrubbing involved when it comes to shower grout since it often gets caked with soap scum and dirt that cling to the grout for dear life. For the most effective cleaning of this grout you may need to employ a powerful cleaning product like one that contains bleach.

Here are some tips on how to clean grout in your bathroom:

• Open your windows
• Put on rubber gloves
• Spray or spread the cleaning product over the surface to be cleaned and allow it to sit for about half an hour
• Scrub, rinse and repeat until all the mold and mildew has been removed
• For tough spots, you may have to use an old toothbrush to scrub the dirt out

The above method of cleaning grout can be filthy and incredibly time-consuming, but it is effective.
