Carpet Installation

Prior to the installation of your new carpet, it is recommended that you discuss with the retailer or installer the specifics of your carpet installation. Should you have any specific recommendations or questions related to your carpet installation it is important to discuss these concerns prior to carpet installation. Your carpet should be inspected for correct carpet style, carpet color, texture, and any visible defects before it is installed. If you notice a carpet defect, contact your retailer immediately. It is your floorcovering retailer's responsibility to install carpet without visible carpet defects if you purchase through a retailer and your responsibility if you purchase your new carpet through other sources. Carpet manufacturers will not entertain claims for any carpet installed with a visible defect. Should you insist the carpet be installed with a visible defect, you may be responsible for any additional labor charges associated with the removal and reinstallation.
